Hitman Rockband gets the party started with your favorite hits from the past and present. We are a bunch of experienced musicians who do good-time party music playing local taverns, summer festivals and street festivals. We play 70's & 80's rock & roll/hair metal songs, a well as top 40 music that appeal to larger college-area crowds, such as Journey, Van Halen, Poison, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, ZZ Top, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elvis, and various other bands along those lines.
Biography & History
Hitman Rockband has been playing together for the last 8+ years, with all members having been performing for over 20 years. Hitman Rockband is living proof that... raw talent, ambition and classic rock can still prevail in a competitive music industry. What else would explain a blossoming career that has found almost 100 shows with the same band members, and enough of a local fan base to make any event a memorable one?
By aligning our unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer Travis Jensen, guitarist Steve Talsma, bassist Tim Kittle, drummer Bill Harrod, have helped to define the landscape of today’s cover music scene. The backbone of our work; stylistically 80’s rock & top 40 songs—suggesting a range of influences from Elvis to Journey—that really hook. Playing live is what we love and we thank you for all of your support!
